IMPULSE:

When a large force acts on a body for a very small time, then the force is called impulsive force. Impulse is defined as the product of force and time.

 

Impulse= Force X time= Change in momentum

It is a vector quantity and its unit is Ns

Why are you studying the impulse?

You know the impulse is a change in momentum but difficult to find the impulsive force because the impulsive force is happening invisible to the system mean Automobile vehicle or CNC or VMC etc..These kind force happen in the system to find use the impulse formula is derived in the Newton's Third Law Of Motion.
